Delaware North Companies Incorporated is committed to putting something back into the community through a range of social and environmental initiatives such as:

- Provided over $US5 million to communities over 5 years.
- Donated thousands of hours of labour to community service.
- Release of the Global Citzenship Report in 2004, detailing it core social activities.

$50,000 Unicef Donation
Delaware North Companies Australia nominated the UNICEF School-in-a-Box program as the recipient of its $50,000 donation to the Tsunami relief fund. School-in-a-Box contains supplies and materials for teachers and students and includes exercise books, pencils, erasers and scissors together with a wooden teaching clock, plastic cubes for counting and a set of three laminated posters (alphabet, numbers & multiplication). The kits are supplied in aluminum boxes and the lid in turn doubles as a black board.
